Answer to the apparently impossible silk mystery challenge

It took about a hundred comments and various combinatorial gymnastics, but some of you over on facebook finally got the right answer to Monday’s Spider Silk Mystery by spraying various combinations of letters at it. The spiders silks were A, C, D, G.

You put in a fine effort, especially Joe Lapp, Gil Wizen, Alex Lohn, James Trager, Michael Suttkus, and several others who I am forgetting, but per the criteria set forth in the original challenge, I am not able to award any points.

Except 1 to Craig Sondergaard, whose entry of “ADHD” was somehow appropriate, while not being entirely wrong.
