Testing 1, 2, 3

Callipogon sp. longhorn beetle, Belize

Of the several redesigns I’ve tested, this one- called Summit– is my favorite. Summit’s images are big, the type is clean, and the style gives the site a sort of National Geographicky feel.

What do you think?

    1. Thanks, Brad! This is a template called Summit. After trying out a bazillion other templates, I finally found this one. Cost $25, and I’d say it’s worth it. Premium templates in general seem better than the free offerings.

  1. I like the big photo format default as well. But I still use my Image Tools plugin to look closer at the fabulous photos !

  2. I like this one too. Good for showing my kids and elderly relatives too with big piccies and clean font. Visual people (e.g. me) will be flocking to this spot daily Alex!

  3. My favourite so far, too. Apart from the green background which I´d smoothen, it does seem somewhat blockish where it´s probably meant to blur…

  4. This is it! The dark green background works very well, the typeface (with serifs) looks great and is easy to read, the big photographs look stunning, and the yellow line is helpful when trying to find your answers. If the template works with mobile devices, I would stick with it.

  5. Looking pretty good. The only thing I might play with is the font for the titles for the individual blog posts. I think a slightly less condensed font might be better.
