If it’s not a polyxenid millipede (Diplopoda, Polyxenida), then it should be, and the hairs should come off and gum-up ant mouthparts when they try to mutilate the poor, well defended creature. Of course, you just came back from Brazil where Probolomyrmex ants are supposed to easily make a meal of them.
I’d say an interesting moth larva that I do not recognize.
or on the off chance, a polyxenid….
Polyxenus lagurus?
No explanation, don’t care about points 🙂
I like Warren’s precise guess, but I’ll hedge simply at Polyxenida 😀
yeah tat’s a polyxenida (Diplopoda myriapoda). i agree with warren too
