A couple announcements.
First, BugShot 2012 is sold out! We are thinking of opening a second event for later in the year, in a different location, as we were taken aback by just how popular the workshop seems to be. Stay tuned for details.
Second, I am giving two talks this week at the University of Central Florida:
April 3 – University of Central Florida
“How to Take Better Insect Photographs”
4:30-5:30pm in BL 209
April 5 – University of Central Florida
“Using Photography and Social Media to Promote Biodiversity”
10:30-noon Student Union, Cape Florida, 316 ABCD
Hope to see some of you there!
Just what I wanted to hear! I am volunteering the week of BugShot and just couldn’t make it. A second event would be the bee’s knees (and elbows!)!!
I though you was on BugShot (3000 photo) went you was down under.
I would definitely love to attend something like this if it were in Illinois
Keep California in mind! Preferably Davis!
Yes, another closer venue would be greatly appreciated as as central Florida was just too far for me this time!
Alex first of all congrats on the sellout that is indeed great news. Interest in insect macro is definitely on the rise, just a quick scan of G+ and flickr will quickly prove that.
