
This little sap beetle was was trapped inside my office window just now. I put it on a leaf outside and snapped a quick photo before it flew off.
As Glischrochilus is among the shiniest of beetles, diffusing the flash properly when photographing it is more important than for most insects. I used my standard double-layer tent diffuser, as here.
