Well, to be picky about it if they’re starting out matriarchal they wouldn’t have feminists. :V
(What would gender be like in sapient ants anyway… would it be based on worker/queen/male, or on worker/soldier/breeder, or on work being done in or out of the nest, and in the latter case would they think of it as more of a transient thing rather than our assumption that it’s a part of someone’s inherent nature…)
Matriarchal? All I see is exploitative males using their sperm to force females into underground egg-machine drudgery and slavery in the quest to produce more dwarf males.
i hate to admit it, but i used to get mildly uncomforatble when I’d put one female A. transcaspicus (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jAvU8Sk5qjw&feature=player_detailpage) )first parasitoid on youtube by the way!! ) in with a bunch of males just to ensure mating…it always ended up like a bad porno
