A damselfly in natural light

My ambient light bug portraits are nowhere near as good as those by the amazing Rick Lieder. But I’m working on it. Here’s a coenagrionid damselfly:

    Very pretty. I love the delicate feel of both the plant and the damsel. I understand your ambient-lighting woes…being without a flash unit, I’m completely restricted to ambient light for my own photographs, and it definitely is challenging at times.
